Job Description
Company Description Argenica Therapeutics is focused on developing novel therapeutics to reduce brain tissue death after stroke and other types of brain injury and neurodegenerative diseases to enhance patient outcomes. The company has developed a neuroprotective drug, ARG-007, that slows brain tissue death, preserves brain cells, and extends the treatment time window for stroke patients. Argenica is also exploring the use of cationic arginine-rich peptides in other neural injury conditions. The company's goal is to address the urgent unmet need for effective neuroprotective drugs for stroke patients. Role Description This is a full-time role for a Pharmaceutical Development Project Manager at Argenica Therapeutics. The role is based at the company's Perth office and will require the candidate to be Perth based. Argenica is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to assist with the planning, execution, and delivery of early phase projects with an emphasis on drug development. The ability to assist with grant writing and presentation development skills will be highly regarded as well. The ideal candidate will work closely with a small team of professionals including clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget while adhering to strict regulatory and quality standards. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in sciences, pharmacy, chemistry, biology, or related field. Advanced degree such as Masters or PhD is preferred. Experience: Demonstrated planning and project management skills. Technical Skills: Knowledge of drug development processes, including regulatory requirements and quality standards (GMP, GCP, ICH guidelines). Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to self-lead with minimum supervision. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners. Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to data analysis and presentation. Key Competencies Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and align project goals with the company’s long-term objectives. Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Adaptability: Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and handling changing priorities and deadlines.
