Job Description

We are looking for a pharmacist senior to join our team in a full-time capacity for 6 months. In this role you will deliver high level mental health pharmacy services in a variety of settings including outpatients clinics, inpatient wards and telehealth. The Pharmacist Senior – Mental Health provides high level pharmacy services to the Mental Health Acute Inpatient Service at Ipswich Hospital. This position functions with a high degree of independence providing clinical intervention and advice, workflow organisation and service developments relating to the mental health wards at Ipswich Hospital. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following: High level knowledge, skills and expertise in mental health and general medicine clinical pharmacy practice and knowledge of hospital pharmacy service delivery. High level ability to participate in the development, implementation, review and maintenance of internal systems, processes, and work practices. High level ability to provide training, direction, and guidance to health clinicians. Ability to proactively contribute to team objectives within the pharmacy as well as the broader multidisciplinary team. Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
