Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals are looking for several Senior Pharmacy Assistants to join their team. The successful candidates will contribute to patient care by supporting Pharmacists in the delivery of an efficient and effective medicines management service to the facilities within Metro South Health through Logan - Beaudesert Hospitals Pharmacy Services, in accordance with current legislation and Australian pharmacy and medicines professional standards and guidelines. About the Role Prepare, dispense and supply medicines from a prescription under the supervision of a Pharmacist for checking and authorisation by a Pharmacist. Assist Pharmacists in the preparation, dispensing and distribution of controlled drugs, including maintenance of records and legislated stock counts. Assist in inventory management including maintain and review stock levels of scheduled and unscheduled medicines and consumables, receiving, storage, distribution, stocktake of medicines, stock rotation and expiry date monitoring. Assist in the effective and efficient storage of pharmaceutical items within the Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals.
