Pharmacy Sydney Part Time Epic Pharmacy Key Points Permanent part-time position with Epic Pharmacy North Sydney, located in Mater Hospital 28-hour fortnights, no weekend shifts. Specialised Hospital Pharmacy Technician role with a focus on managing ward imprest stock and pharmacy inventory. The Opportunity We are seeking a permanent part-time Imprest Pharmacy Technician to join our supportive and friendly Epic Pharmacy team at Mater Hospital, North Sydney. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the supply of medications to hospital wards and clinical areas by maintaining imprest stock levels, liaising with nursing staff, and overseeing inventory accuracy. Site Information Mater Hospital North Sydney boasts 223 beds, and provides intensive care, cancer care and surgery, orthopaedic and rehabilitation wards, as well as a maternity unit. About the Role In this specialised imprest role, your primary focus will be on procurement and inventory management, ensuring hospital staff have timely access to essential medications. You will play a key role in maintaining efficient stock levels, minimising waste, and supporting seamless hospital operations. Responsibilities Replenishment of ward imprest stock levels to ensure medications are readily available for hospital staff. Maintenance of imprest areas to keep stock organised and up to date. Expiry date checking to ensure medication safety and compliance. Liaising with nurses and clinical staff to assess and adjust imprest stock levels based on patient care needs. Conducting six-monthly imprest reviews to optimise stock levels and minimise waste. Performing stocktakes of imprest locations to maintain accurate inventory records. Overseeing the After-Hours Cupboard to ensure essential medications remain accessible when needed. Shift Information You will be working a 7-hour shift every Tuesday and Wednesday, for a total of 28-hours every fortnight. About You You are an organised and detail-oriented professional. Whether you have experience as a Pharmacy Technician or come from a procurement and inventory background (i.e., experienced in duties such as stock-taking, purchasing and inventory management) - we welcome your application. Essential Requirements Pharmacy dispensing OR procurement experience. Australian working rights. Ability to commit to the required shifts for the long-term.
