The Opportunity We currently looking for Pharmacy Technicians to join us on a contracted 12-month role, with both full-time and part-time positions available. Joining our pharmacy team based at St. Andrews’s Private War Memorial Hospital in Spring Hill, you will work with allied health professionals and doctors to deliver optimum patient-centred pharmaceutical care. About the Role As a Hospital Pharmacy Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring patients receive the right medications safely and efficiently. From preparing and dispensing medicines to managing inventory and working alongside healthcare professionals, you'll be at the heart of hospital pharmacy operations. Responsibilities Deliver high level pharmacy services to the hospital staff, patients and customers Dispense and supply medications for hospital and cancer patients Assist with imprest and pharmacy inventory management Undertake delivery and collection of medications to hospital wards Complete data entry of patient specific information into database Assist with patient account enquiries Liaise with hospital staff and associated employees Assist the pharmacy teams with any general administration Shift Information Shifts will rotate between 7:30am/8:00am and 11:00am starts. Weekend and public holiday cover may be required on occasion.
