Job Description We are offering a full time, 12 month contract working in a flexible environment , built around the diversity of our team and their needs. What we are looking for A passionate and energetic Philanthropy Manager with a genuine interest in working in the international aid and development sector, you will report to the Head of Philanthropy and play a pivotal role in our Fundraising team. You will be responsible for managing the relationship between UNICEF Australia and a portfolio of major donors and trusts, with a strong focus on prospecting and securing new donors as well as developing and growing existing relationships. Your day will include New Business: Secure income from new high-value philanthropists, trusts and foundations. Relationship Management: Nurture and grow existing high value relationships through exceptional relationship management and build this over time through effective prospect management. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the Fundraising Team and colleagues across UA to achieve UNICEF goals. Other duties: As directed, responding to organisation priorities such as disaster response, which may require additional duties outside of the usual working hours. We would like you to have the following skills and experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience A passion for international development work and/or global humanitarian relief response. Prior experience in fundraising, desirable but not essential Excellent written and oral communications skills Excellent interpersonal skill with a natural ability to build relationships Experience communicating with a range of different audiences Ability to exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality Good organisation and administrative skills A dynamic, self-motivated, ‘people person’ Personal attributes required for this position Team player Kind What will it feel like to work at UNICEF Australia An environment and culture built on the importance of teamwork, collaboration and shared purpose.
