Physician - Endocrinology, Thyroid Specialist (Open Rank/Track Faculty) Job Overview The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an academic Endocrinologist to join the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience. Position Overview The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism is actively recruiting an endocrinologist with interest or expertise in thyroid disorders. This is an academic position on the clinical track that emphasizes patient care for thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, and other thyroid disorders; instructs medical students, residents, and fellows; and engages in scholarly activities such as quality improvement and clinical research. Duties and Responsibilities This position emphasizes patient care to endocrine patients focusing on thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer; instructs medical students, residents, and fellows; and involves basic or clinical research. Additional duties include thyroid ultrasound, fine needle aspirations, e-consults, and inpatient consults. Requirements Candidates must have an MD or DO Board Certification or Board Eligible in Endocrinology Qualify for academic appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level The Ohio State University Ohio State is a top-20 public university, and its Wexner Medical Center is one of America’s leading academic health centers.
