Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience. Position Overview The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center is seeking candidates for faculty positions in Nuclear Medicine who are passionate about collaborative, patient-centered clinical excellence, dedicated to advancing research and innovation, committed to education, and inspire inclusivity. The responsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to patient care, research, and training graduate and postgraduate students. The Division of Neuroradiology focuses on all aspects of Neuroradiology, in particular, MRI and CT interpretations of the brain, spine, head and neck, and image-guided procedures of the spine and neck. Neuroradiology enjoys excellent collaborative interdisciplinary relationships with referring specialty services, and serves a busy Comprehensive Stroke Center, a Level 1 Trauma Center, and a large NCI-Designated Cancer Center. Neuroradiology faculty provide outstanding teaching to fellows, residents and medical students, and serve as teaching faculty for thriving Neuroradiology Fellowship, Diagnostic Radiology Residency, and Integrated IR/DR Residency training programs. Duties and Responsibilities Daytime, on-site position: Monday – Friday 8a-5p Weekend call shifts (8a-4pm): Approximately 8 weekends per year, can be worked from home Interest in image-guided procedures is desired Contributes to the day-to-day clinical operations of the Neuroradiology Division of the Department of Radiology: Provides high-quality patient care as related to the Neuroradiology Service. Contributes to clinical and imaging operations as related to the Neuroradiology Service. Education, Training, and Faculty Development: Conducts and provides clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings, both within OSUWMC and at the regional and national level. Collaborates with faculty and leadership in the Division to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities. Serves as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty in the Department. Research and Scholarship: Supports clinical and translational research activities and innovation May serve as PI or Co-I in grants and/or clinical trials Serves on Department, OSUCOM, or OSUWMC committees to represent the research and innovation interests of the Department, as appropriate Job Requirements M.D., D.O., or Ph.D. in imaging and/or imaging-related fields Board certification in Radiology (ABR, AOBR) Subspecialty fellowship in Neuroradiology, or equivalent experience Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio Must support and embrace the diverse and inclusive culture of College of Medicine, the Medical Center, and the University How to Apply Application materials must include cover letter and Curriculum Vita.
