Physiotherapist - Paediatric Rehabilitation 1 1 Job posted: 21/01/2025 Organisation: The Royal Children's Hospital Occupation: Medical and Nursing Reference: 12800 The Role: An opportunity has arisen for a Grade 2 physiotherapist to join the paediatric Rehabilitation Team for a full-time position for a fixed term (12 months, parental leave replacement). Part-time applications will be considered. The Grade 2 physiotherapist will provide physiotherapy services to children and adolescents as part of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation service at Royal Children’s Hospital. The role sits within the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (VPRS), which is a state-wide specialist service that caters for the complex rehabilitation needs of children and adolescents and is aimed at functional maximisation. The VPRS at The Royal Children’s Hospital has rehabilitation beds located in the main hospital, and a large community-based service. The caseload is varied and includes goal-based interventions for children following acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopaedic surgery, multi-trauma, spasticity management in cerebral palsy, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and other complex medical conditions. To be successful in this role you will have: A physiotherapy degree qualification from an accredited course/university Current registration with AHPRA Satisfy the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Continuing Professional Development and Recency of Practice Guidelines Uphold the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct Clinical experience in the rehabilitation management of children and/or adolescents To view the position description please click here .
