Physiotherapist - Senior, Child Development Service, Queensland Health Queensland Health - Maroochydore, QLD Health, Medical & PharmaceuticalSource: Sunshine Coast Student Jobs Hub JOB DESCRIPTION An exciting opportunity exists for a Physiotherapist – Senior, Child Development Service to deliver high level Physiotherapy clinical services and leadership across one or more specific work units, to stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health (SCHHS). Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north. Physiotherapy clinicians within Child Development work as a team to meet clinical demand in keeping with Clinical Prioritisation Document. Staff will be required to work across other clinical services and facilities within Women's and Children's Services as required to assist in meeting patient care needs, managing leave cover, and succession planning of staff. Staff may be required to rotate across SCHHS as per Allied Health Rotation Guidelines. Key Responsibilities include: Deliver independent high level Physiotherapy clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence. Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery. Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced Physiotherapy practitioners and students as delegated. Remuneration value up to $125,887 p.a., comprising salary rates $64.64- $69.55 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Permanent part time position, 60.8 hrs p.f.).
