Physiotherapist - Senior (Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic Screening Clinic) The primary focus of this role is to deliver advanced levels of Physiotherapy service to a complex musculoskeletal caseload. The Role An opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapist - Senior (Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic Screening Clinic) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will Provide independent, advanced physiotherapy management of a complex, musculoskeletal clinical caseload, within a multidisciplinary team context. Contribute to the development of clinical practices, pathways, procedures, and protocols addressing needs across the health continuum. Continuously develop personal expertise in the field of clinical musculoskeletal physiotherapy at an advanced level and identify training needs. Act as a musculoskeletal physiotherapy advocate/representative within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service. About you Tertiary degree in Physiotherapy. AHPRA Registration. Evidence of vaccination or ability to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B. Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required. Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed. Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost). About Us The Neurosurgical and Orthopaedic Screening Clinic provides optimal non-surgical treatment for Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic Outpatients for the GCHHS with the aim to ‘give the right intervention at the right time to the right person.'
