Plant Operator – Road Maintenance / Civil Construction Glenelg Shire Council is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Road and Infrastructure Maintenance Team as Plant Operators. The position is based at the Council's Heywood Depot, primarily focusing on road construction and maintenance, though duties may vary to support other works and services as required. The Plant Operator role typically involves labouring and the operation of plant and equipment. We are looking for a candidate with a positive attitude, the ability to work well within a team, and strong attention to detail. Previous trade qualifications or labouring experience would be advantageous, as would holding an HR/HC truck licence. What you need to Thrive To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate your experience working outdoors with the use of a variety of plant and machinery, proven experience in labouring works and the willingness to learn new skills.
