We provide platform capabilities and tooling that is leveraged across all Business Unit Platforms within the Bank to deliver industry-leading software including: CommBank App, Netbank, CommSec, CommBiz and Commbank.com.au. See yourself in the team: We are a high-performing squad of ServiceNow DevOps Engineers who are responsible for building and maintaining an enterprise scale ServiceNow Platform serving multiple capabilities across the bank including ITSM/ITOM, IRM, SecOps, and Employee workflow modules. We are interested in hearing from people who are: Experienced in running operations aligned to SRE/DevOps principles Confident in supporting the design and implementation of features, integrations, and related automation, promoting the adoption of coding best practices, managing CI/CD processes, and addressing technical debt within the platform Proud of their in-production support, design, and build of Technology solutions with a passion for staying current with emerging technologies and trends Knowledgeable in triaging and troubleshooting production incidents, developing fixes, and delivering new features while ensuring compliance with established standards and policies Focused on the bigger picture with good problem-solving and communication skills Experienced and/or exposed to ServiceNow Product Engineering Collaborative with stakeholders and gathering requirements to ensure successful deployments Working with a sense of urgency by understanding business impacts and possessing excellent incident management skills Tech skills: We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all, but experience or exposure with some of these, or a willingness to learn these skillsets, (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team: HTML, Javascript, React, JSON Python, C#, Java Git, GitHub, Subversion etc. ServiceNow core Platform, ITSM, IRM Modules Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud JDBC, SOAP, REST, OPENID, SAML, ODBC MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Oracle Kafka and ServiceNow Stream Connect Ability to develop ATFs in ServiceNow, and/or Selenium for comprehensive testing coverage API Gateway Technologies SDLC, ITIL, CI/CD pipeline, automation, testing, scripting AJAX, XML, CSS, REST Web UI unit testing, profiling, code tuning Working with us: Whether you’re passionate about customer service, driven by data, or called by creativity, a career with CommBank is for you.
