Our client is a leading construction contractor representing a number of manufacturers of outdoor recreation equipment and amenities. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative who is extremely driven by selling a product they can be excited and passionate about within their assigned territory. Target focus includes but is not limited to: Architectural Contractors, Landscape Contractors, Builders, Housing Complexes/Builders, Schools/Education (Day Care, K-12+), Fitness Facilities, Recreation Centers, and Retail. The role involves prospecting in the field for new clients as well as building existing relationships (home office). Presentations are made to small and large clients (Lunch and Learns); therefore, candidates must possess strong presentation skills. Candidates must be comfortable selling a complex product as well as managing a longer sales cycle. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred Minimum 3+ years of B2B Outside Sales experience selling products to government, education, housing developments, building, and construction industries Experience in driving new business and building ongoing relationships Knowledge/understanding of the RFP process is a plus Excellent presentation skills (lunch and learns to small and large groups) Documented sales success in meeting and achieving sales goals Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Excellent communication and time management skills Ability to travel within territory Compensation: Base Salary: $75,000 Expenses: Company Car + expenses & Phone Full Benefits Package Direct Sales Recruiting, LLC, (DSR) and DirectHR are national recruitment organizations partnering with national, regional, and local clients to bring qualified candidates a career and a future.
