The PoweringWA Branch is leading WA’s energy transformation and coordinating delivery of the critical infrastructure we need for a low-emissions, reliable power supply across the State. We’re fast-tracking renewable energy projects, working in partnership with government, industry, and regional communities to build a sustainable future for WA. We are expanding our team here at PoweringWA, and we have two Policy Analyst positions available. The role In this position, you will support the delivery of PoweringWA's strategic and operational outcomes. As a Policy Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting in the research and analysis of energy policy issues related to the future planning and operation of energy systems in Western Australia to provide evidence‑based advice to the Government. You will be required to collate and prepare advice aimed at addressing issues within an energy sector context, that is consistent with legislation, government policies, and guidelines. Your sound communication and comprehension skills will enable you to successfully understand and interpret various complex documents to encapsulate the main concepts and convey them to key stakeholders, in written and verbal formats.
