Join Our Team at Boots Civil: Poly Welder / Pipe Layer As a poly welder / pipe layer at Boots Civil, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient joining and installation of polyethylene pipes and fittings. Your expertise in pipe installation techniques, adherence to safety protocols, and attention to quality will be vital in ensuring the successful completion of the projects. Key Responsibilities Perform polyethylene welding to the highest industry standards. Document welds to ensure they meet quality and safety requirements. Transport and maintain welding equipment. Installation of pipe work in a safe manner, working to the project drawings and standards. Prepare and excavate trenches, ensuring proper alignment and grading for efficient drainage and pipe laying. Conduct daily pre-start checks to ensure equipment safety and efficiency. Assist with concreting, form-working, and steel-fixing. Collaborate with the wider construction team to deliver projects. Minimum Requirements Proven experience as a Pipe Layer, preferably in civil construction. Demonstrated experience as a Poly Welder in the civil construction industry. Strong knowledge of pipe installation techniques and materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong work ethic and reliability. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Knowledge and commitment to construction safety regulations and procedures. Valid driver's licence. Legally entitled to live and work in Australia. General Construction Induction – White Card.
