Job Description Part time 15 hours, Varies roster across 7 days Opportunity to join a progressive organisation that truly embraces training and development Free parking, uniforms, PPE and equipment are supplied. Your day to day activities: Conduct pool opening procedures, including removing pool covers, cleaning the pool and surrounds Place lane ropes in pool and prepare all safety equipment Test the pool water and record the daily results in SMM Conduct lifeguard activities throughout the opening hours of the pool Undertake the rescue of any user as required in accordance with standard work instructions covered by the certification Ensure all pool safety equipment and rescue equipment is available at all times Conduct pool closing procedures Manage access to swimming pools by entitled members only ABOUT YOU Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate Current Senior First Aid Certificate Genuine passion for excellent customer service Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory) Certificate III in Fitness (preferred) Minimum 1 year experience in a lifeguard role If you are interested and can offer a high-quality standard of work whilst amongst a dynamic & growing team, we are looking to talk to you.
