Job Description
Seeking an experienced Portfolio lead with extensive delivery and data & analytics experience (Perm - $200k + Super + Bonus) 08th February, 2025 The Role As a Portfolio Lead – Data & Analytics, you will take ownership of a full portfolio of data and analytics projects aligned to a business domain. You will collaborate with key business stakeholders, including Senior Managers in Data, to translate business needs into actionable data initiatives and drive strategic outcomes.Reporting to the Head of Data Partnering, Strategy & Performance, you will oversee the project delivery capability and assess the maturity and success of how projects are delivered. You will lead cross-functional teams of project delivery & technical experts to deliver high-quality data products and services that support business strategy. This includes capabilities such as data lake & warehousing, ETL, data modelling, machine learning, and Generative AI.Key Responsibilities Project & Portfolio Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data analytics initiatives, managing priorities, risks, and resources effectively. Stakeholder Engagement: Develop strong relationships across business and technical teams, ensuring alignment of data solutions with strategic goals. Technical Expertise: Ideally, you will have worked in a technical data & analytics role in the past and have transitioned to delivery role(s). Governance & Compliance: Ensure data initiatives adhere to security, privacy, and risk management standards, contributing to high-quality business casing and data strategy development. Requirements Proven experience leading end-to-end data & analytics programs of work from a delivery perspective in complex environments, including data warehousing, data lakes, and AI-driven solutions. Expertise in data product development, solutioning, and backlog management. Advanced stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse business and technical teams. Hands-on experience with agile methodologies, ensuring adaptability in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with modern data technologies and a passion for continuous learning.
