We are currently looking for an experienced Powder Coater to join our team. As a Powder Coater, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring high-quality finishes on a range of metal products. This will involve : Preparing and loading components for the powder coating process Operating/configuring powder coating equipment to apply powder to the components Monitoring the coating process to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications Conducting regular maintenance and cleaning of powder coating equipment Identifying and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the coating process Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the powder coating process Collaborating with the production team to optimise workflow and efficiency To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate a minimum of 2 years experience as a Powder Coater (or in a similar production role). You will also need to have : Strong technical skills and understanding of powder coating equipment and processes Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow standard operating procedures Commitment to maintaining a strong workplace health & safety focus Good communication and problem-solving skills Reliability and a strong work ethic In return, you will enjoy : A fulltime permanent position after completing a qualifying period Ongoing training and development opportunities, including the ability to become a qualified tradesperson with an Australian recognised qualification.
