Job Description
Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Power BI Developer, preferably with a background in Financial Reporting, to join its Data and Analytics team on an initial 6-month contract. Please note, to apply applicants must have the following: The requisite skill and experience defined below, At least Australian Permanent Residence working rights, At least 3+ year's relevant local working experience as a Power BI Developer. Key responsibilities: Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights. Create and optimise data models to enhance performance and usability of reports. Integrate and transform data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency. Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and quality assurance for reports and datasets. Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and best practices. The successful candidate will have: Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and semantic modelling. Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate complex data insights effectively. Experience working with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations data is a plus. Experience with financial reporting, metrics, and analysis is highly desirable.
