The Opportunity Ready to make an immediate impact? Reporting into the Digital Manager, Analytics Engagement & Enablement, the PowerBI Technical Lead is responsible for ensuring Sigma’s PowerBI implementation aligns to global best practice in terms of engineering and operations. You will provide technical direction and support to delivery squads, define and ensure design principles are adhered to, and champion consistency across our PowerBI environments. This hands-on role will require you to develop and deliver PowerBI solutions, with the majority of work focused on flexible data models that enable Sigma’s vision of self-service analytics. You will also guide the design and implementation of PowerBI solutions based on sound engineering practices, balancing long-term direction with current needs whilst ensuring the platform is performant, secure and accurate. Key Responsibilities include: Subject Matter Expert for PowerBI Partner with engagement, engineering, enablement, customers and stakeholders to support data projects Hands-on PowerBI development, championing technical excellence, including mentoring of PowerBI developers, enablement and reporting analysts Ensure PowerBI solutions are aligned to best practices and guiding principles for self-service and reporting Design and optimise flexible PowerBI data models that enable end-user self-service analytics, with heavy consideration paid to user experience, consistency and performance Administration and support of Power BI and Power Automate platforms. We are looking for: Significant hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerBI, including ongoing management of the platform Proven experience in addressing data challenges within large organisations Strong experience integrating multiple data sources, working with data flows and composite data models Experience in designing and developing Power Automate flows Expert in writing and optimising reports and dashboards and troubleshooting DAX What’s on offer: When you join Sigma Healthcare, you join an Australian success story with over 100 years of proud history.
