Join to apply for the Practice Consultant (Senior Manager), Youth role at Anglicare WA . Permanent role based in East Perth, with a salary of $132k (pro rata) plus salary packaging and super. Introduction As the Practice Consultant - Youth, you'll drive excellence in youth services across Anglicare WA. You'll support our programs through practice development, setting service standards, and improving outcomes. Working with a team of experts, you'll apply your specialist knowledge to enhance and innovate our youth services. You'll also represent Anglicare WA in key youth-focused forums, locally and nationally. This is a permanent part-time opportunity (30 hours/week) with the possibility of increasing to full-time (37.5 hours/week). Skills and Experiences What you will bring! Tertiary Degree in Youth Work, Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or other relevant tertiary qualification. Demonstrated, extensive experience and skill effectively engaging with and supporting vulnerable and ‘at-risk’ young people. Knowledge of contemporary issues in youth work and knowledge of service delivery to homeless young people. Well developed knowledge and application of the WA Youth Work Code of Ethics. Knowledge of the barriers young people experience accessing support services. Knowledge of what constitutes a ‘youth friendly environment’. Knowledge of the psycho-social development of young people. Demonstrated experience and skill working with vulnerable young people with complex needs, and their families. Highly developed influential leadership approach. Excellent skills in written and oral communication. Highly developed supervision skills within a reflective practice framework. High level skills in dealing with vulnerable and complex clients in a person-centred way. Skills in program management reporting. The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year and a current WA Driver’s Licence. Additional Benefits Salary from $132,000 + 11.5% superannuation. Salary packaging of up to $15,900 (which equates to circa $4K after tax) plus additional salary packaging of up to $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses.
