We’re seeking a Practice Lead, Business Analysis to join our IT Product Delivery team — a team dedicated to developing and enhancing digital products across diverse university business areas. Your Role As the Practice Lead, Business Analysis , you’ll manage and mentor a team of Business Analysts and UX Specialists, fostering collaboration and excellence. In addition to leadership, you’ll operate as a Senior Business Analyst, directly contributing to projects by: Partnering with stakeholders to identify, analyse, and document business needs and challenges. Designing and implementing frameworks and tools to enhance business analysis practices. Facilitating the re-design of processes or systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Bridging communication between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment and success. Your expertise will guide the team in applying Agile practices, human-centred design techniques, and dynamic problem-solving approaches to deliver exceptional outcomes. About You You’re a leader who thrives on collaboration and innovation. With a balance of technical expertise and business acumen, you bring a can-do attitude and a team-first mindset. You have: Proven experience managing a team of Business Analysts/UX Specialists and leading complex IT projects. A deep understanding of product management and software development life cycles. Expertise in Agile methodologies and human-centred design practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders. Technical proficiency, including familiarity with AWS services and dynamic artefact creation (e.g., journey maps, user stories). Preferred qualifications include TOGAF and COBIT certifications and experience in the higher education sector. Work Requirements: Full working rights in Australia On-site position, therefore successful candidates must currently be living and/or have confirmed relocation to Perth, WA.
