Job Description

We are looking at recruiting an enthusiastic and highly motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and forward-thinking clinical team. The ideal candidate would be an experienced Practice Nurse currently working in General Practice. Main duties of the job We are looking for someone who has experience in chronic disease and case load management to include: Diabetes COPD Asthma Coronary Heart Disease Anticoagulation Monitoring as well as NOAC and DOAC Therapy Cervical Cytology Childhood Immunisations Travel Immunisations Vaccination Programme Training in Flu and Covid Learning Disabilities About us Shotton Lane Surgery is a very well established and forward thinking practice. We have 3 extremely committed and successful GP Partners, alongside 1 Salaried GP, a committed bank of regular GP Locums, a highly motivated Nursing Team all backed by an excellent administrative support team. We are committed to high quality care of patients and staff and fully support the development of the team. We are part of the NE Flintshire Cluster. Job responsibilities Hours of Post: 25 to 37.5 Hours Per Week Hours of Work: Mon-Fri between 8.00am & 6.30PM Base: Shotton Lane Surgery Hourly Rate: Dependent on Experience Person Specification Knowledge and Skills Committed to CPD Qualifications Registered General Nurse qualification and be registered with the NMC.
