If the answer is YES to ALL of these, read on. We are seeking a Pre-Implementation Consultant in our established and scaling B2B SaaS business. This role is based out of our Melbourne Head Office (hybrid working format). VendorPanel and Unimarket (recently merged) provide award-winning procure-tech platforms used by corporates, governments, higher education, and regulated industries. We operate in multiple countries, manage billions of dollars in procurement spend, and provide our users with a better way to do business with suppliers. We help our customers drive positive outcomes across the full length of the procurement value chain from Sourcing through to Payments. The Pre-Implementation Consultant is a key contributor to the successful delivery of customer projects. This involves consulting with the customer to uncover their needs and procurement processes and then coordinating internally to configure their new system to suit their business requirements and ultimately deliver on their procurement and business objectives. As part of this role you will: Develop in-depth understanding of project scope and particulars i.e. timeframes, outcomes Act in a consulting capacity with customers alongside other company resources (Customer Success, Solutions team etc), helping design and implement the platform in line with project objectives Influence customers and processes to deliver optimal outcomes Run discovery workshops with the customer to discover key customer needs, identify and understand procurement processes, and uncover and collate related data required for system configuration Document system configuration and design to allow for a smooth configuration of the platform Work to configure the platform (or support internal team members to configure the platform) to optimise the system for the customers needs Review project progress throughout ensuring the project stays on track Acquire and maintain strong system knowledge of the company's product offerings Maintain thorough project documentation including statements of work, project tracking, status updates, and reports Work closely with the Project Managers and Project Coordinators to ensure a smooth delivery of the project Deliver allocated tasks and/or workstreams on projects as directed by the Project Manager Provide excellent client support when conducting implementation exercises Manage individual workload to deliver assigned projects on time Travel to customer sites as required To be successful in this role, you will bring: Proven experience of project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes, and approaches Ability to juggle multiple projects, timelines, and deadlines Discovery, facilitation, negotiation & problem resolution skills Process-oriented and detail-focused A high level of curiosity Ability to build a strong network and relationships at all levels with technology and solutions, customers, and project teams/groups Comfortable with technology and various business software applications Self-motivated with the ability to thrive under light supervision Ability to work effectively in a “hands-on, make it happen” environment Experience in SaaS software or with procurement technology Resilience and resourcefulness A bit about us: VendorPanel/Unimarket provides an award-winning technology platform used by medium and large corporate organisations as well as local and state government.
