Job Description

Little Kickers provides fun and imagination-based soccer classes for children aged 18 months to 8 years across the Gold Coast and Far North Coast of NSW. Our imagination-based ethos teaches children the fundamental skills of the sport, while also improving their listening skills, colour recognition, social interaction, sense of well-being, number work, and camaraderie. We are looking for coaches who are reliable, organised, confident, and great at interacting with young children. You will need excellent communication skills and be physically fit for the role. It is advantageous if you can entertain children by being bright, lively, and enthusiastic. Coaches will need a full driving licence and car to travel to venues across the Coast. A blue card is mandatory for this role. No previous high-level playing experience is required, but a basic understanding of the sport and the ability to perform basic skills is essential. Previous childcare and working with children experience will be an advantage, but full in-house training will be provided. Those studying teaching, early childhood studies, or health sciences are encouraged to apply. Working hours will range between 3-15 hours per week initially for the right candidate on a casual basis. This may increase to 15+ hours over time. We strive to keep coaches in the same classes every week and are looking for coaches to commit to set hours on an ongoing basis.
