Preschool Educator - Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care About the role We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Educator to join our team at West Albury Preschool Centre. This part-time role in Albury, NSW will see you play a vital part in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our young learners. The position is for 20 hours a week, contracted until December 2025, with the possibility of it being ongoing. What you'll be doing Implementing and engaging in a play-based learning program that supports children aged 3-5 years. Observing and documenting children's learning and progress to inform ongoing curriculum planning. Building strong relationships with children and their families to foster a sense of belonging and community. Ensuring a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment that adheres to all relevant regulations and policies. Collaborating with the preschool team to continuously improve the quality of our programs. Undertaking professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge. What we're looking for A relevant early childhood education qualification, such as a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Experience working in a preschool or long day care setting, ideally with 3-5 year old children. A deep understanding of child development and the ability to cater to the unique needs of each child. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. A commitment to upholding high standards of safety, care and professionalism. The ability to adapt to different programs and children in an understanding and positive way.
