About the role This 12-month fixed term role is to work closely with the Senior Pricing Manager to deliver the Pricing & Value Strategy measuring performance against key metrics, as well as business partner merchandise BU teams to support this. The Pricing Manager oversees pricing reporting and identifies opportunities to refine, enhance or automate reporting and create more value for the team and stakeholders. Your day to day will include: Acting as a repository of knowledge that the business can call on when required. Researching and resolving Business Unit inquiries for value and pricing related areas. Identifying and implementing process changes that deliver improved end to end efficiencies. Embedding compliance requirements into business planning and practices. Establishing and maintaining effective governance practices across areas of responsibility. About you and your skills You thrive in dynamic cross functional teams where you can apply your commercial acumen and lead projects relating to your role. You’ll be the main point of contact for Merchandise teams on Pricing & Value, providing guidance and support on key decisions regarding market pricing, value plans, promotional tactics & effectiveness and category growth opportunities. Our ideal candidate will be able to: Conduct robust analysis to identify and evaluate pricing and value metrics. Deliver insightful commentary and actionable insights based on in-depth analysis. Look for opportunities to bring in data from other sources in the business e.g. Synergy and Flybuys to add depth to analysis and decision making. Be comfortable in presenting findings in a succinct manner to senior leadership with a clear narrative. Establish rapport, build and maintain effective working relationships with cross functional teams. Have experience handling large scale data and developing insightful reports.
