The College is growing in size, and a new Primary School opened in Term 1, 2024. The College is a ministry of The King’s Chapel and has been offering quality education in the area since 1986. Join our Team as a Primary School Curriculum Coordinator for Year 3 – Year 6 The King’s College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Curriculum Coordinator, 3-6, to join our team and play a key role in ensuring excellence in teaching and learning. This position requires a highly organised and motivated educator who is committed to implementing best practices in curriculum development and assessment. The successful applicant will oversee the planning and execution of programs in Years 3-6, ensuring alignment with school and national standards. This role involves working closely with teachers to support curriculum implementation, modelling lessons and coaching staff to enhance student outcomes. The Curriculum Coordinator 3-6 will also manage assessments, analyse student data, and maintain student progress trackers. Additionally, they will collaborate with the Head of Primary to facilitate professional learning programs, oversee class budgets and implement key literacy initiatives, including EDI and The Writing Revolution. A passion for literacy and library services is essential, as the role includes promoting a love of reading, managing library resources, and coordinating engaging programs such as book clubs and reading challenges. Furthermore, the successful candidate will coordinate the Gifted and Talented Program – NEWTON 3-6, developing an engaging curriculum to challenge and support high-achieving students. A strong commitment to a Christian and Biblical worldview, excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire both staff and students are essential. Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, families and team members. Recognised teaching qualification and current TRB registration. Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills to enable professional interaction with a range of people, including parents and support staff.
