Principal Adviser Women Re-entry Services Queensland Corrective Services (Organisation site)Offender Rehabilitation and Management; Specialist Operations; Community Corrections and Specialist Operations; Brisbane In this highly collaborative role, you will be responsible for oversighting delivery of the new statewide Women’s Reintegration Service contracted by Queensland Corrective Services. You will be able to travel as team leader to five professional staff located in key service delivery areas across the State. The Principal Adviser Women's Re-entry Services is one of four team leader roles within the statewide Re-entry Services team. The Re-entry Services team is a key service delivery area within the Offender Rehabilitation and Management Services (ORMS) of QCS. The Re-entry Services team is focused on supporting the service delivery system to ensure high quality and best practice reintegration services are available to men and women who are preparing to return to the community following a period of time in custody. To be successful in this role you will: Value your role as a team leader to successfully manage and grow a team of professional and/or administrative staff. Be adept at liaising, consulting, discussing and negotiating with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective operations of the business unit and contracted services. Require excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed writing and oral communication abilities. Have demonstrated experience in the management and oversight of contracted services including monitoring, evaluating and reviewing service provision to deliver outcomes against agreed targets or key performance indicators. Possess the capacity to conduct research and apply critical thinking skills. Have a sound understanding and application of re-entry models and techniques which relate to female offenders.
