Come and be a part of this success. About the Role Our Enterprise Mining Probabilistic team (EMP) are seeking a Principal Planner CPPM to join a technically motivated and results-driven team. Working within a core group, this reports to the Manager EMP on site, and is accountable for integrating EMP Theory and framework into mine planning systems. You’ll be expected to collaborate with the Principal CPPM and to implement initiatives into the Mine Plan and maintain close relationships with external stakeholders. The requirements for this role include measuring and detailing critical path sequences, monitoring schedule robustness and buffer status, and finally integrating CPPP strategic outcomes and probabilistics into the site deterministic schedule. To achieve this, you will be responsible for: Developing and maintaining an integrated 150 Day Mine Plan using CPPM theory and methodology to create a robust forward work plan. Collaborating with stakeholders to maintain strong understanding of the mine schedule, design concepts, pit strategy, and what is required to ensure delivery of the plan across teams. Interrogating data and system inputs/outputs, verification of data accuracy, quality, and robustness. Effective communication of Critical Paths, sequences, timings, resources required, interactions and schedule conflicts. Monitoring, reporting, and escalating model robustness using TARPS, and reconciliation process. Identifying and assessing risks, making risk informed decisions, using BHP’s risk management framework, and building a risk aware culture to support safe and productive performance outcomes. Supporting mine planning in Short Range Forecast communications. Monitoring and managing the plan performance using PDCA cycle, escalation protocols, and TARPS. About You About You Proven experience in planning within the mining industry, with a focus on strategic, long-term planning: Strong expertise in CPPM methodologies, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. Advanced leadership skills, capable of managing cross-functional teams and driving collaborative, high-performance environments. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a track record of identifying and mitigating risks to ensure project success. Exceptional communication skills, adept at liaising with senior stakeholders, contractors, and operational teams. Commitment to safety and sustainability, with a deep understanding of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
