For additional information, visit us at . About the role Title: Principal Consultant - CIO Advisory As a member of the CIO Advisory practice, you are an emerging strategic IT advisor . You are comfortable interacting with all levels of client personnel including senior leaders. You enjoy leading or being part of a high performance geographically distributed delivery teams. You are enthusiastic about technology and stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and business innovations. You are experienced with several aspects of strategic IT planning , including at least two architecture domains (business, application, data, technology), IT governance, org design, portfolio simplification, cloud & emerging technology strategy, IT financial management. You embrace the relationship between business and technology. You understand how to integrate business needs and technology opportunities into a cohesive strategy and plan. You also have experience supporting consulting business development. Experience in at least two industries is desirable. Responsibilities Provide strategic advice to senior client IT and business stakeholders. Lead project workstreams independently, playing a client-facing role and responsible for successful delivery of outcomes. Lead or participate as team member in a multi-disciplined global delivery teams. Manage client expectations, lead components of work, direct & create project deliverables as required. Cultivate and grow senior client relationships in an advisory capacity, establishing credibility as a trusted advisor. Support consultative sales to achieve business growth. Identify sales opportunities and help create well-structured client proposals, including project scoping, technical requirements, proposal development, and presenting proposals to clients. Support Sales and Account teams to develop and execute account penetration strategies. Support hiring, training, and mentoring of team members. Assist in the development of intellectual properties, service offerings, and related materials as required. Qualifications 6 - 10 years’ experience in IT Services with at least 3 years as a Strategic Advisor and 4 years in a client-facing consulting role. For this role, experience in delivering Enterprise Architecture artifacts, and uplifting EA capability is needed. Preferably in the Energy & Utilities industry. Successful track record in supporting business growth as well as project delivery. Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with “C” level clients. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build relationships. Understanding of management consulting and IT frameworks to align business and IT. Experience working with business stakeholders to capture business strategies and goals. Experience developing strategic roadmaps for clients incorporating business and technology drivers. Good and broad understanding of Business architecture, Technology trends, IT infrastructure and operations, applications landscape to drive architectural conversations. Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools such as Alfabet, LeanIX, Abacus, or similar. Understanding of technology delivery models and governance models (including cloud and digital transformation). Experience with agile delivery.
