About the role: We are looking for a Principal Developer (full stack) to drive the development of MYOB's SaaS platform. You will enable prospect to purchase and order to cash processes along with accounting, payroll and compliance needs for the Enterprise Group. You will form, communicate and lead a clear technical vision and strategy. You will collaborate closely with your delivery and engineering leads. Be a hands-on practitioner as well as a leader, mentor and coach. Key Objectives Outcomes: Take ownership of the platform as a domain expert. Apply the product, domain and system ownership mentality. One Team - work with teams in sales, services, support, success, Ops & billing to ensure solution design and execution for smooth business operations. Overall responsible for the technical solution and architecture for important team level decisions. Champion governance and data integrity in the ERP platform. For e.g. data hygiene, source of truth for CRM/ERP data sets, quality assurance, and automation. Own and translate sophisticated business requirements and break them down into smaller initiatives to deliver value to customers incrementally. What you will do: Deliver technical modernisation objectives by migrating to target state architecture for CRM and ERP solutions. Responsible for architecting, solutioning, delivering overall engineering solution - covering all the relevant areas including data migration, integration, software development, operations, BAU and ongoing enhancements. You will work with architects, technical leaders, development team and business partners to ensure the software developed is delivered in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure the solutions meet the business requirements, is maintainable and scalable over the long-term. You will apply your knowledge of the business, data, product domains and integration patterns to ensure a detailed transition into a go-forward ERP platform. Lead and empower the team to define, refine and incrementally move to a technical vision whilst delivering extraordinary customer experiences. Coach and mentor engineers and technologists and grow our future tech leaders. What skills you will need Fullstack conversant (AWS, Node.js , Kotlin). Proficient in both back-end technologies and front-end frameworks, and open to learn new stack. Design, build, test and deploy software solutions including APIs, serverless and microservices. Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and concepts. Knowledge and experience practicing engineering techniques such as DevSecOps, continuous delivery and progressive delivery on cloud native solutions. Coaching and mentoring skills in individual and group settings that enable you to teach technical, analytical and collaborative skills. A growth mentality and the dedication to continuously improve personal and team processes, practices and performance. Pragmatism to balance short term delivery needs with longer-term strategic direction and objectives. Experience in senior technical leadership roles, with a proven capability to effectively communicate ideas, processes, concepts, and practices, thereby driving outcomes across the broader organisation.
