Job Description

Salary: $160,000 – $190,000 based on experience Technical Focused Position Principal Environmental Scientist to join an Australian Specialty Environmental, Health & Safety Consultancy on an expansion path. Originally Melbourne based, they have grown organically making key hires at the business development level that has seen an Adelaide office added. They are now looking to stabilize both offices with technically focused hires to assist in managing growing projects. The Role: Project Management across Landfill, Petroleum, Government, Airports, Development, Expert Witness, Due Diligence, and Audit. This consultancy prides itself on offering more diverse work to its staff compared to the bigger players – so there will be no pigeonholing into any project silo. Assisting with technical guidance of more junior staff (the CLM team in Melbourne currently sits around 15). Working closely with Occupational Hygiene & EHS Principals. Environmental compliance, noise, compliance risk and review, GED, EPA, Air Quality Monitoring. Flexible working arrangements. The Team: The team is a good mix of skills & experience with many coming from ex-top-tier firms looking for (& finding) the same quality of projects but with less red tape. The MD is an environmental professional & encourages an open dialogue for all levels of staff when it comes to ideas & direction. Salary: Circa $160,000 – $190,000 – seeking an experience level around the 15-year mark.
