Job Description

Strategy National and Analytics; Energy; Queensland Treasury; Brisbane City We are seeking an experienced Principal Finance Officer for a permanent role in a small team that provides business focused financial management and financial performance information and analysis to business units and stakeholders in Energy Division, Qld Treasury.Your employment experience will include flexible working options, competitive salary and benefits, and generous leave entitlements. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-level financial business support functions. To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate: Experience in financial management services, advice and accountability, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The ability to successfully build and sustain relationships to enable the collaborative delivery of customer-focused outcomes with team members, key stakeholders, and clients. High level skills and knowledge of the Queensland Government budget processes and Public Sector financial management policies and practices including financial management and reporting and experience in a range of financial management systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Excel).
