The Department is a central agency that leads the public sector in providing advice and support to the Premier and Cabinet in their service of the Western Australian Community. The Organisational Development (OD) Branch provides expertise and services in Workforce Development, Workforce Planning, and Workforce Health and Safety (WHS). OD projects focus on targeting organisational capability, developing long-term strategic solutions, and enhancing operational excellence. About the Role This position is responsible for leading a section within the Organisational Development (OD) Branch. The role ensures that OD initiatives, projects, and programs of work are implemented according to change management principles, measured for effectiveness, and continuously improved to meet operational and strategic requirements. It is responsible for building and maintaining productive relationships with key stakeholders to deliver excellent service and proactively networks externally to the organisation to bring best practice to the department. The role is a mentor to the team and coaches to build capability. It provides expert advice to senior leaders and is a member of the OD leadership team.
