Award/Classification: Tasmanian State Service Award - General Stream Band 7 $129,302.00 to $136,089.00 per annum Employment type: Fixed-term, full-time Region: South Responsible for leading and overseeing complex activities, including the development of high-level written advice for a range of audiences including the departmental executive, minister, and external stakeholders. This role will also frequently liaise with stakeholders and may be required to represent the Department at agency, inter-agency and national level meetings and briefings, as required. Period of Appointment 3 years Duties Research, analyse and make recommendations in relation to strategic policy and legislation on a broad range of areas. Provide strategic advice and produce high-level written documentation on a broad range of sensitive issues for the Executive, Secretary and Minister, including the development of Cabinet material. Develop high-level strategy, plans and reviews informed by national and whole-of-government priority areas, and through targeted consultation with specific communities. Maintain and enhance positive relations and networks with internal and external stakeholders, including other Government agencies at an inter-agency, state and national level, as well as relevant peak bodies and representative groups. Actively consider and develop creative solutions to policy issues, and drive policy reform in line with broader government agenda.
