Eden Ritchie Recruitment is seeking a Principal Property Officer Are you ready to take your property expertise to the next level? Join a dynamic government department in a temporary opportunity where your technical and commercial skills will be vital in facilitating the use of school infrastructure across the state for community purposes. About the Role Duration : 5 months, commencing ASAP As Principal Property Officer, you will: Lead and manage property programs, including Joint Development Agreements and third-party leasing initiatives. Provide high-level property and planning advice, ensuring compliance with legislative and policy obligations. Conduct due diligence, land use analysis, and planning to support community and joint development opportunities. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and identify opportunities in property and leasing programs. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality service outcomes. Take a project management approach to complex property matters. About You To excel in this role, you will ideally bring: Expertise in property-related disciplines such as Town Planning, site due diligence, leasing, and policy implementation. Strong written and analytical skills, including experience in report and brief writing. Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies impacting government property portfolios. The ability to think proactively, stay connected to industry updates, and align your work with organisational objectives.
