Job Description
Ravenswood School for Girls Council seeks to appoint our next Principal, following the announcement that Anne Johnstone will be moving to Cranbrook School after an exceptional ten years as leader of our School. At Ravenswood, we believe that in nurturing and challenging each girl, she will discover her potential, passion, and purpose. On the premise that learning and wellbeing are inextricably linked, we have developed our hallmark wellbeing approach, underpinned by Positive Education. This permeates all our programs and all our relationships, supporting our 1,450 girls in developing the resilience and grit that will help them navigate fulfilling lives and pursue excellence in their studies. Over the last decade, the School has gone from strength to strength with our enhanced educational programs, increased enrolments, and extensive renewal of our learning spaces, including recently breaking ground on our new Wellbeing and Sports Centre. Council is determined to continue this momentum, building on what has been achieved. Our new Principal will shape the next era for Ravenswood, bringing fresh ideas and inspiration that will stretch and extend us.
