Drive the strategic vision of NAB Private Wealth by building strong relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. Utilise your expertise as a multi-discipline banking professional. The Private Client Director (PCD) role is effectively the face of NAB Private Wealth. This pivotal role will have strong business development and relationship management responsibilities, professionally representing the business in direct client interactions as well as in associated business, community, and social networks. As a Private Client Director you will be responsible for proactively developing and building a portfolio of valued private client relationships. This includes originating new business to build a bespoke portfolio and driving growth of the business across multiple facets, with a focus on Ultra High Net Worth individuals and Family Offices. Client satisfaction is paramount, leading to consistent advocacy for our services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Grow, develop, and manage a portfolio of ultra-high net worth, complex customers. Identify new business and referral opportunities and establish, develop, and utilise networks of internal and external contacts. Use experience and knowledge to identify opportunities to help clients preserve and grow their wealth. Prepare and submit for approval consumer and business lending proposals outside own authorities with full justification for recommendations, including analysing industry and business information. Collaborate with internal specialists to best serve your customers. Identify customers’ goals and aspirations through quality conversations and face-to-face meetings. What you will bring: Previous banking experience dealing with High-Net-Worth, and Ultra High-Net Worth clients, and their families. Previous experience within Private Banking, Business Banking, Asset Management, Markets and/or Investment banking. Strong lending skills to deal with complex credit submissions for both consumer and commercial finance and knowledge of investment products. Proven experience with business development/acquisition of new clients. Sound understanding of banking products and services and their regulatory framework. Strong preference for those who are RG146 compliant, but not a requirement.
