What we Offer: Full time permanent role 38-hour average week with a compressed 9-day fortnight option 12.5% superannuation Eligibility for the Tronox bonus scheme Relocation assistance provided if required Access to Long Service Leave at 5 years (pro-rata of 13 weeks @ 10 years) 12-weeks paid parental leave Access to Novated Lease Additional leave purchase program Company paid Salary Continuance, Journey, Total Disability & Life Insurances A service award program About the Role The Senior Process Control Engineer is a regional support role and involves traveling to various sites and operations, including our Eastern Operations in Broken Hill and multiple locations in Western Australia such as Cataby, Muchea, Kwinana, Australind, and Busselton. The Senior Process Control Engineer will be accountable for supporting achievements of site and Technology & Improvement (T&I) priorities via execution of effective process control solutions. Ideally, the candidate would be experienced in Honeywell, Rockwell and SCADA. Primary responsibilities for this role are: Responsible for optimum availability and functionality of the process control systems and applications Support Process Improvement and Process Engineering teams in the development and programming of control sequences – utilizing standards developed for programming of PLC’s, DCS and SCADA HMI packages Guide Production teams in the implementation of process control models, strategies and other methods Examine and translate users' requirements and/or equipment-related process control queries into appropriate solutions Provides guidance, support and direction to the Process Control Specialist/Engineer Manage 3rd party vendor SLA’s for Control Systems Develop/update standards for any new/modified control system architecture Ensure change management practices are followed when altering the control system Identify and train resources on process control improvements and maintenance Provide input on new technologies considered and stay abreast of technology development and its application Execute capital projects, determining the cost of engineering, labour, equipment and materials for process control improvements Develop recommendations for the improvement of infrastructure Assist with operational implementation of the process control and infrastructure modifications and upgrades Provide technical expertise in support of capital projects, process evaluation, and project modifications About you: Preferred candidates will have: Degree qualified with programming experience Proven track record leading process control solutions Advanced data analysis knowledge and experience in Plant Control Systems/Programming (especially PLC’s) Demonstrated ability for analytical capabilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to contribute to organisational change Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment Next Steps Click Apply and start your brilliant journey with Tronox today!
