Putting customers at the centre of everything we do, PT&O is responsible for the world leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank. Sitting within PT&O, Processing Support & Reconciliations work closely with CBA and Bankwest internal stakeholders, customers, and other financial institutions, to ensure service delivery expectations are met or remediated. The team performs in life maintenance and reconciliation activities for business units across both CBA and Bankwest, with teams based in Sydney, Melbourne and Bangalore. Your Impact Working seamlessly across sites, Processing Support & Reconciliations is responsible for a number of internal and external account opening and maintenance tasks across CBA & Bankwest. The team manages functions covering term deposits, bank cheques, DDR stops/claims, loan rejections, unclaimed monies, duplicate statements and 3rd party cheque decisioning. The team is also responsible for settlement, technical and financial reconciliation of hundreds of accounts across the Group and is regularly called upon to assist teams across BB and RBS to locate errors & complex exceptions. We are seeking people who: Are able to complete periodic analysis on proposed spend, recommend outcomes and identify improvement opportunities. Can conduct reconciliations around financial recoveries versus spend at product and project levels. Do research and data analysis on existing operational processes to inform process improvement initiatives using the process management disciplines. Can identify opportunities for continuous improvement in existing processes. Can identify risks and escalate potential risks. Support the removal of potential process, performance and quality bottlenecks and maintain a focus on specific customer needs and the intended project outcomes.
