We are looking for a Process and Product Lead to support the People Technology Strategy Lead (& Global Process Owner (GPO) Delegate) with managing the full end-to-end process and product design to ensure the people function operates effectively and efficiently, leveraging technology and optimizing processes to support the people domain at Rio Tinto. Although this has technical elements to the role, we are seeking a passionate HR enthusiast to bring their functional skillsets to the position also. This role will support the various global process roles with process and product improvements to bring together the end-to-end user experience through process and technology improvements. You will be working closely with the Workday Phase 2 Functional Workstream Lead to ensure Phase 1 scope integrates smoothly and in a structured way for Phase 2 scope delivery. Reporting to the Senior Manager People Technology Strategy and working in a collaborative community within our HR Process and Technology department, you will be: Delivering the end-to-end process and product vision for the People Function within the People Domain Leveraging data and insights to understand inefficiencies and constraints within our business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvement Ensuring that global and local requirements (legal, compliance and regulatory) are understood Managing business process and product dependencies across the end-to-end people experience, for an aligned functional vision and roadmap Adopting an integrated approach to planning, prioritization, design and delivery across the People Domain, COO, and Workday Phase 2 Supporting the People Technology Strategy Lead to launch and embed the People Domain, including operationalising SAFe agile ways of working in partnership with IT Partner with the Workday Phase 2 Functional Workstream Lead to ensure that BAU changes integrate smoothly and in a structured way with Phase 2 delivered scope Participate in the relevant prototype review and testing workshops for Workday Phase 2 design and scoping discussions, bringing a BAU lens for critical design decisions What you’ll bring A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team Deep understanding of HR business processes, across multiple geographies and business units Functional product knowledge of HCM systems (Workday essential and ServiceNow HRSD highly desirable) Proven experience making data driven decisions through the interpretation of analytics and insights Knowledgeable in Scaled Agile (SAFe) with the capability to integrate it into a Lean portfolio Prior business process design experience Strong stakeholder management skill at senior levels Strong ability to gather, analyse, prioritise, and document requirements and ability to convert complex business requirements into a fit-for-purpose plan Ability to collaborate within a team environment and share knowledge freely What we offer Be recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work, and go home knowing you have helped the world progress.
