Initially, the role will focus on Hydrogen-to-Power projects, along with other diverse projects in Renewables (Wind & BESS), Mining & Resources, and the Defence sector. The Process/Mechanical Engineer reports to the General Manager – Engineering and is responsible for the design, development, and commissioning of process and mechanical systems. This role also involves overseeing the manufacture, installation, operation, and maintenance of these systems. Key Responsibilities Design and produce drawings of mechanical systems using Computer-Assisted Design (CAD), SolidWorks, or similar software. Design and produce process-related drawings and documents (e.g., P&IDs). Conduct calculations and software modeling for process and flow requirements. Determine and specify project-required process instrumentation and equipment. Prepare detailed production drawings for manufacturing. Coordinate the interface between structures and equipment to be installed. Prepare layout drawings for construction. Ensure completed works meet project specifications and safety standards. Contribute to commissioning and testing of automation, process, instrumentation, and mechanical systems. Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from design through testing and commissioning. Develop and maintain standards and processes relevant to mechanical/process systems. Adhere to and promote safety requirements.
