Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Forrestdale, 6112, Perth, Western Australia for a Procurement & Inventory Supervisor at eKitchens. The role will involve overseeing the day-to-day tasks related to procurement and inventory management. Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Procurement & Inventory Supervisor to join our fast-paced team to optimise the end-to-end supply chain. This role will secure an uninterrupted supply of products & materials and strategically lead the stores and procurement process. Holding a key position within the supply chain, you will work closely with cross-functional departments, supervising the Purchasing and Inventory team to maintain efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a problem-solving mindset and a solid purchasing background. The Procurement & Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing purchasing and inventory activities, ensuring the timely acquisition of quality materials and services at the best possible cost. This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and maintaining procurement processes that align with company objectives, policies and compliance standards. The position holder is responsible for the effective management of goods warehousing and storage to maintain optimum inventory levels. Key Responsibilities Building and maintaining positive internal and external relationships. Negotiating with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements. Implementing and optimizing end-to-end procurement processes. Manage and define storage strategy in the warehouse maintaining cost-effectiveness. Creating and maintaining long-term forecasts with stakeholders. Coordinating with warehouse logistics. Supervise the purchasing team and monitor performance. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Meeting performance targets and deadlines. Commitment to following safety policies, and regulations and enhancing a culture of safety. Commitment to performance and continuous improvement initiatives and culture. Accuracy in data entry and order processing. Timeliness of order processing and inventory updates. Efficiency in coordinating deliveries and resolving logistics issues. Customer and supplier response time and communication effectiveness. Accuracy of inventory records and audit outcomes. Teamwork and collaboration. Team and individual performance. Skills and Competencies Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with strong attention to detail. Communication: Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external customers and suppliers. Problem-solving: Proactive in identifying and addressing issues within processes. Technology Proficiency: Skilled in using supply chain and inventory management software and tools. Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment. A friendly, collaborative and professional outlook. Initiative, motivated and with a high attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Able to establish project schedules and respect budgets. Proficient in Microsoft Suite, ERPs and relevant systems. Solid experience with complex manufacturing and procurement environments.
