The internal title for this role is Purchaser. The preferred location for the role is Service Office, Tempe NSW however remote work from any IKEA AU location will be considered. About this work area As Procurement Specialist your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Complete management of the end-to-end Procurement process for Indirect procurement categories supporting the Australian IKEA business. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously ensuring all commitments are delivered & conflicting timelines managed effectively to ensure full stakeholder satisfaction with the Procurement process. Secure and adhere to the end-to-end Global Procurement purchase process and integration with local AU & NZ procurement activity across a number of Procurement Categories IKEA Australia and New Zealand as required. Lead and drive supplier management and performance by influencing, challenging, and collaborating with suppliers to improve ways of working, supplier performance and drive cost consciousness to deliver positive outcomes for the business. Proactively monitor market and provide input and recommendations regarding sourcing options, supplier market and market trends to ensure development of the category/sourcing plans. Build trusted long-term relationships with suppliers and secure compliance of IWAY and Code of Conduct. Collaborate and support internal business partners to meet and achieve favourable outcomes for their procurement needs. Ensuring all purchase orders are placed by requesters through SAP Ariba by providing ongoing training and keeping them informed about the latest ways of working. Training and coaching users on creating Goods Receipt and Service Entry Sheets in SAP Ariba, enabling suppliers to perform PO-Flip, secure 3-way match, and automate invoice handling. Driving compliance with KPIs, such as PO Compliance, Invoice Match Rate, and Pay on Time, for units within your area of responsibility. Ensuring suppliers are fully equipped to trade via SAP Ariba with Ingka by managing contact details, access, and smooth operations. Investigating invoices to support a smooth payment flow. Proactively maintaining and improving catalogue content in SAP Ariba to enhance the ordering process for requesters and streamline invoicing for suppliers. Acting as the primary point of contact for operational procurement matters, facilitating communication between requesters, suppliers, and GBO. Building a strong network with requesters in your geographical area by proactively reaching out and fostering trustful relationships. Who you are As Procurement Specialist you are: Equipped with extensive, broad knowledge and experience in procurement in a large & complex organisation, ideally with experience working with SAP Ariba. Equipped with previous Facilities Management experience or construction purchasing experience with the ability to balance complex tasks and multiple priorities whilst ensuring you are delivering to agreed timeframes and costs. Committed team focused individual who enjoys working as part of a small engaged team of Procurement professionals where ideas, skills & capabilities are leveraged to deliver outstanding performance. Able to demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Able to utilise your procurement experience and knowledge to influence and negotiate with stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes for the business.
