Apply: Procurement Sustainability Specialist Reference: BH-15919 We are looking for a Procurement Sustainability Specialist to join our client's Supply Chain team. This role will focus on embedding sustainable procurement practices aligned with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals, driving key strategic initiatives, and managing stakeholder relationships to deliver impactful sustainability outcomes. As a Procurement Sustainability Specialist, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure procurement decisions support the firm’s ESG objectives. You will drive initiatives, manage risks, and oversee the execution of sustainability goals while contributing to the firm’s commitment to responsible and sustainable procurement practices. Key Responsibilities Sustainable Procurement Strategy: Assist in developing and executing sustainable procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with firm-wide sustainability objectives. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to collaborate on sustainability priorities. ESG Goals & Reporting: Support the achievement of ESG targets (e.g., Modern Slavery) and prepare internal and external sustainability reports. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate ESG-related risks, including Modern Slavery, and assist with risk reporting. Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within procurement processes. Project Management: Lead and manage sustainable procurement activities, aligning them with business goals and providing regular updates to senior stakeholders. Key Skills & Experience Formal qualification in Law/Finance/Business Admin or similar Knowledge of Australian Modern Slavery regulations Project Management or business analysis skills Strong influencing and communication skills Demonstrated experience implementing, managing, or having worked in an environment with a risk management program, informed by a risk & compliance framework. Experience implementing and/or managing risk management processes in a digitised environment. Relevant experience in risk management (operational and legal), supplier engagement (e.g., Procurement, S2S) or compliance management. Managing/coordinating introduction of new process and systems initiatives/projects – specifically delivering business requirements, conducting user acceptance testing, training, and documentation.
