With a highly skilled in-house design team, we pride ourselves on our ability to develop personalised private label ranges, providing our retail partners with exclusive retailer-specific accessories collections to complement their own seasonal offering in line with their brand & customer needs. About the Role The Product Development and Sales Manager will be responsible for developing, managing and growing the wholesale side of the Vimwood business. This focuses on identifying and developing new product categories, products and partner opportunities, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing wholesale partners (such as Woolworths). The role involves developing and implementing strategies to increase sales, market share and working collaboratively to ensure the seamless integration of these initiatives and relationships into the operations of our business. This role will suit someone from a product background within a wholesale environment, who is creative and innovative in thinking. They will be able to identify gaps and opportunities, develop and design commercial product ranges, as well as selling the ranges to our retail partners. The role is full time and based in our offices in Alexandria, with parking available onsite. Key Responsibilities: Ensure product and packaging designs are in line with Wholesale partner requirements. Identify strategic new business opportunities for retail partners. Identify brand and range gaps and opportunities within current partner portfolios. Perform trend analysis and trend forecasting. Work with Planning team to drive profitability. Source product and reviews costings in line with agreed brief. Develop and maintain positive relationships with Wholesale partners. Work with team to achieve targeted RRP and COG targets. Manage a small team. Product development and design expertise. Experience within a wholesale business. Sales and business development experience. Creative and innovative. Ability to identify new product and business opportunities. Amazing at building and maintaining strong business relationships. Highly organised and able to oversee and manage administrative, design and development processes within agreed deadlines. Thrives in a fast paced, busy environment. Ability to work autonomously, take ownership and make decisions. Experience of leading a team.
