Your Role There is no typical working week at Flybuys. But here are some of the things you will be working on, day-to-day; Product Strategy & Vision: Develop a clear product strategy that aligns with overall business objectives Evangelise the strategic vision for one of Flybuys key missions, articulation of the value proposition, and communicates to all relevant stakeholders . Define the high level business requirements for the product roadmap and manages execution and changes. Manage product from concept, to design, testing, forecast, cost, promotion, support, and finally product end of life. Maintain a forward looking vision for the roadmap for where our products will arrive so our internal teams, clients and the marketplace and remain excited, engaged and are invigorated by our vision for the future of our products and capability. Develop and deliver the operating plan: achievement of growth objectives including market share, revenue, profit and return on investment for all the channels/categories of business and/or key customers. Work with the Delivery team to define and provide high level product requirements so that they are equipped to translate the requirements into user stories so that the delivery/engineering team work out the "how" and execute features on the overall roadmap plan. Determine product pricing based on market research and product demand. Customer Centric Approach: Advocate for our customer throughout the product development process Engage with customers and prospects to ensure that the vision and roadmap remain relevant, high value and will ensure competitive differentiation in the marketplace Understand the competitive landscape and help the wider organisation to understand it, ensuring that our competitive differentiation is well understood within all Tribes Understand the wider ecosystem and ensures that our product roadmap is addressing the problems that our clients not only face today but will face in the future. Business Outcomes: Monitor key performance indicators and make data driven decisions to optimise product outcomes Continuously evaluate product performance against strategic goals Communicate product updates, progress, and challenges to stakeholders Proactive understanding of market and competitive trends and translating the opportunity to revenue and performance outcomes Build strong relationships with internal and external partners that strives for mutual success Your Experience 3 to 5 years’ experience across product management and development specifically in mobile/digital products either with a consulting organisation, independent software organisation or large company Tech savvy and passionate about building customer centric products . Strong understanding of market dynamics, revenue models, and the competitive landscape Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making. Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office. Metrics-driven: Strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information . Experience with best practice agile development and lean startup principles . Curious and comfortable holding professional conversations with customers. Excellent communication skills both verbal, written and presentation. Excellent people and management skills to interact with team members, cross-functional teams and third parties. Innovative thinker that can translate ideas into practical solutions and/or product . Can maintain strategic course through day to day operational challenges to ensure that we remain focused from a project perspective on the strategic rather than the tactical in terms of focus and prioritisation.
