We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Product Manager to lead the development of Stan's personalisation and recommendations experience. Your mission is to create a Stan experience tailored to each customer, delivering intelligent, relevant, and highly engaging interactions across the platform. You’ll transform recommendations from a utility into a dynamic, integral part of the user experience, driving increased viewing time, faster decisions, and greater relevance for every user. Reporting to the Product Lead, in this role, you will own critical personalisation features and develop the roadmap for users across Entertainment, Sport and Kids. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and refine features that create a unique, customer-first streaming experience, ultimately increasing engagement and satisfaction. Responsibilities and Duties: Deliver personalised experiences: Develop features that provide a tailored Stan experience for each customer, leveraging Recommendations, My List, and Watch History to present highly relevant content. Optimise Profiles & Onboarding to set the foundation for personalised interactions from the moment a user joins Stan, and use relevant content to entice users to come back to Stan collaborating with CRM teams to reach our lapsed based. Enhance recommendations as a core experience: transform recommendations into a fully immersive experience that feels indispensable to users. Focus on increasing relevance, accuracy, and engagement, helping users find TV they love with minimal effort. Increase engagement and viewing time: create seamless pathways for users to start watching quickly, reducing the time it takes to find and play content. Enhance Downloads and My List functionality to empower users to engage with their favorite content anywhere, anytime. Focus on Sports fan and team experiences: lead the development of the My Team’s/Fan Experience feature to cater to fans of sports and live events, offering tailored updates, notifications, and exclusive content. Intelligent and relevant notifications: Design and implement a notifications strategy that brings users back to Stan with meaningful, well-timed prompts. Ensure notifications add value by being context-aware and aligned with user preferences and behavior. Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with Engineering, Delivery, Design, QA, Data, Marketing, and Content teams to bring the vision for content discovery to life. Work together to prioritise features that have the most impact on user satisfaction and engagement. User-centered design: Drive the development of features that are intuitive, user-friendly, and data-driven, leveraging insights from user research and analytics to guide your decisions. Data-driven product development: Utilize customer data, behavior patterns, and testing to make informed decisions on product improvements. Own A/B testing, customer feedback loops, and analytics to continuously improve the discovery and browsing experience. Launch & iterate: Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features. Iterate based on customer feedback and data to refine and enhance the browsing experience over time. Stay ahead of trends: Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the streaming space to ensure Stan’s recommendations and personalisation experience is market-leading and competitive. Skills, Experience & Behaviours: Proven product management experience in personalisation: Demonstrated success in delivering digital consumer-facing personalisation or recommendations products. Customer-centric: Strong empathy for users, with the ability to define, prioritise, and execute on features that directly enhance customer experience and engagement. Data-driven: Solid understanding of how to leverage analytics, A/B testing, and user feedback to drive decisions and measure product success. Experience with analytics tools and data-driven decision-making processes. Collaborator: Strong communicator with a proven ability to work with teams across disciplines to bring products to market successfully. Visionary with a focus on execution: Able to create a clear roadmap for product initiatives, balancing innovation with practical execution. Comfortable prioritising and managing multiple projects simultaneously in an agile environment. Passion for streaming media: A genuine interest in the streaming and entertainment space, with a keen understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the industry. Agile & iterative mindset: Experience working in an agile environment, delivering iterative improvements while balancing long-term vision with short-term deliverables. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience: A degree in Business, Computer Science, Media, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Bonus Points: Experience with recommendation algorithms, machine learning, or user personalisation platforms.
